www.flabar.org    The Florida Bar was established in 1949 by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida. Membership in the Florida Bar is mandatory for those practicing law in the State of Florida. Membership is only granted to persons who have passed a written examination and who have been investigated for character and fitness. I served on the Bar's Fourth Judicial Circuit Grievance committee for a three year term, becoming the Chairman in 2007. The purpose of the committee is to investigate complaints of malpractice lodged against members of the Florida Bar.
